We've had a hugely positive response to our petition to save Dumbuckhill and have reached almost 2000 signatures within just a few weeks! On our campaign trail, we've been surprised by the number of local people who didn't know about either the original planning application or the subsequent appeal but we're continuing to raise awareness in any way we can. We have full support from our local Labour MSP Jackie Baillie and many other candidates in the forthcoming election. The Lennox Herald also featured our petition in this week's edition of the newspaper. The petition will be submitted to the DPEA on 28 April which is the closing date for any representations and then we'll have to wait for a decision.
