Watch The Ivors Academy CEO Graham Davies and Musicians’ Union General Secretary Horace Trubridge giving evidence in the fifth session of the music streaming inquiry on Wednesday 10 February.

They will tell MPs why we need to fix streaming so that it works for all songwriters, composers, and performers.

Also appearing will be representatives from the BPI (representing major labels), MPA (representing music publishers), as well as YouTube, SoundCloud and Twitch.

Watch live from 2.30pm.

Catch up with the evidence so far

Tom Gray, Guy Garvey, Nadine Shah and Ed O’Brien won hearts and minds in the first session of the music streaming inquiry, explaining to MPs why successful artists and creators are struggling to pay rent and backing equitable remuneration to create an income for the entire music community.

Nile Rodgers, Fiona Bevan and Soweto Kinch spoke about transparency, curation, and the value of the song in the second session of the streaming inquiry.

Major labels gave some unbelievable responses to MP questions that left viewers incredulous in the third.

And in the fourth last week, MPs asked independent labels about contracts, transparency, and the dominance of major labels.

Tune in tomorrow for the next round
