Nicky Morgan shows no remorse for labelling 11 year olds failures!

Just returned from the NAHT Annual Conference. I have never known Head teachers so angry. On Saturday morning, Nicky Morgan spoke to the delegates and faced a question and answer session. I'm afraid it was yet more 'empty' words. One asked if she was happy to label children as failures she said there was no pass or fail - unbelievable! This after hearing about a bright dyslexic boy, national chess champion, who because of his difficulties would not meet national expectations. She was not willing to change the assessment arrangements to best fit rather than the current secure fit. Yet again policy over the well-being of the children. This has got to stop. Parents, teachers and governors must unite over this and bring an end to this damaging assessment system. It's immoral, wrong and a waste of tax payers money.
