The Rock 2000 isn’t just a music countdown anymore - it’s an institution. It’s the culmination of four weeks of the biggest rock tunes, as voted by you. And with this year being year 27, it’s about time it got the respect it deserves.

There’s a serious lack of public holidays between Matariki and Labour Day, and the final day of The Rock 2000 is the perfect excuse to fix that.

Friday, September 25 - The Rock 2000 Final Day - becomes a public holiday.

This is your countdown, and we want to make sure your voice is heard.
