On behalf of my neighbors family, Audrey Silversmith, who passed away early this October.  She was a good lady, who went out of her way to help others.  Her daughter and granddaughter both recently came to stay with Audrey, which brought her much joy.  Sadly early in October Audrey passed away, and her daughter who has a broken leg, is overwhelmed with handling the affairs.  She was recently given notice that she has to be out by the first of November.  I’m asking our community to sign this petition so that more time is allotted to make sure her daughter and grandchild find secure housing elsewhere.  They were given very little notice.

Pinon Terrace is an apartment community that has many residents who work hard to make sure that their families have a safe place to provide for their children.  

It is important to watch out for our neighbors, and not to let Audrey’s kindness towards others to be forgotten.

She always had a smile to brighten my day,  and we use to watch the sunset together and talk about her life.

Please sign this petition to request that Mercy House and the Department of Housing and Urban Development allow more time for the bereaved to settle the affairs of the family member who passed away.

Audrey’s daughter had a dream that her mother was looking at her apartment and told her thank you for all the help.
