Teaching children to be kind to pigeons is important for now, and for the future of animal welfare in the U.K.
Many children love to relate to birds and animals, and can be taught to do so in a positive way, without frightening or harming them. It is not acceptable that some children are encouraged to frighten or bully pigeons, who share our world. Let’s bring back kindness and respect for pigeons, and all creatures, along with a greater understanding of their needs.
My petition to stop pigeon abuse and persecution currently has well over 6,000 signatures. Nevertheless, I still need more voices. Let’s aim for over 7,000!
