True Taxation Without Representation

Today's working youth in America are being taxed without representation; This is an issue our country was founded on. My name is Allie and for the last two years I have held down a part-time job along with going to high school and extra-curricular activities. From this part time job, Ive been afforded the opportunity to buy a used car, clothing, and tickets to the movie theater without asking my parents for money. In other words the income I have earned goes back into the economy. Due to the fact that I made more the $5,800 dollars last year I now fall into a taxable income bracket. Which means I have to pay federal, state, and local taxes. Since I am under the age of eight-teen there are certain rights that I have yet to attain such as; the right to vote, serve my country, and go to the doctor without being accompanied by my parents. It seems to me the government wants me to pay taxes like an adult but does not provide me the other rights of an adult. This is considered taxation with representation; A battle cry this country was founded upon. I’m not asking for the rights you receive once reaching the age of eight-teen; I'm just asking not to be taxed until I am granted these rights.
