Timely trains on reliable schedules, stations, and trainsets have become increasingly rare, making travel by train a less viable option for millions of American citizens. Moreover, it impacts our ability to connect people to jobs, jobs to people, and strengthen our nation's connectivity.

However, I fervently believe that President Donald J. Trump's leadership can catalyze efforts to revitalize and expand passenger rail service in the United States. Despite the current obstacles, his administration has shown commitment in championing great infrastructure improvement. With his powerful leadership, I believe that we will witness the expedited delivery of designated improved passenger rail corridors and create great American Jobs.

Honoring President Trump's efforts in this critical sector by naming this network of corridors after him would further entrench great rail transportation as an important national initiative that Americans would be proud of an feel safe using. While substantial funds have been assigned by the past president to enhance passenger rail, action towards delivery has been "sleepy." In recognition of President Trump's commitment to streamline funds and approval processes, his fervor to provide resources to  "wake up" the passenger rail system throughout America, naming this national network of improved rail corridors after President Trump will inspire Americans towards reaching this important goal.

We need a passenger train service that we, as proud Americans, can rely on — an efficient, reliable, and robust rail system that unites our beautiful country without hampering freight trains.
