Some excellent news for the Save the George campaign which has seen landlady Pauline Forster shortlisted for a “Heritage Angel” award from Historic England (formerly English Heritage) for her work in restoring the Grade II listed pub and music venue. The award is recognition of all the hard work Pauline and her family have done in returning this once run-down building to its former glory.
