Support Iqbal Begum (grandmother) for Permanent Resident Card from Canadian Government
The Issue
Grandmother Iqbal Begum was divorced when her son and daughter were only small children.
Iqbal Begum lived with her son until he married and even after.
From 2003-2018 Iqbal Begum lived alone in village, her son moved to Canada for a better future.
From 2018-2021, Iqbal Begum is living with family in Canada on visit visa. Her two attempts at Permanent Residency card on humanitarian basis were rejected. She is now 77 years old.
If her Permanent residency card is rejected one more time, she will be forced to return to village in Pakistan.
There is no doctor, or big grocery store nearby. It is an undeveloped village with dangerous undeveloped paths and snakes.
If this happens, Iqbal Begums' son will find it difficult to continue work peacefully to support his children and wife.
She cannot live with her daughter, as daughter is dependent on in-laws and doesn't work. Her in-laws and family don't support Iqbal Begum to live with them.
Iqbal Begum had weak bonding with daughter, as daughter lived with father from childhood until marriage, after the divorce.
Daughter is near 60 years old, with health issues.
she is living in another village. and is only able visit once every few weeks.
Iqbal Begum's only sister died about 3 and a half years ago.
Please Support Iqbal Begum in attaining P.R card for humanitarian needs.
