Hello, everyone!

Thank you all for 249 supporters!

As I said in my last petition update, I had a meeting with Senator Tim Kaine's assistant.

The meeting went well but this battle isn't over yet.

There are still multiple steps to take before declaring victory.

A kindergarten teacher of my school found out about my petition and she emailed me this: Hello, Justice if I get your permission, I can pass this information on to our public relations team. I think they would love to share this story! Just let me know if you are interested and then the vice president of public relations would reach out to get more information from you. 

If you don't know what the people in public relations do, here is their role:  Public relations specialists build and maintain a positive public image for a company or organization. They create media, from press releases to social media messages, that shape public opinion of the company or organization and increase awareness of its brand (or in this case, awareness of my petition.)

The other part of that was that the public relations guy (the vice president of PR ) asked if he could talk to me over the phone because he wanted to hear a few things about my petition and he is going to talk to my town's newspaper and get a few things about me and my petition in the newspaper.

Now, my/our next step will be to get this petition further and further out there. If you have any organizations that you think needs the help of others, leave a comment of which one and I can help you make it happen.

One of the reasons that this is all happening is because all of you are helping this petition get noticed.
