This was presented to the then Minister of Environment and Heritage a few years ago and was received warmly by the ministers involved. The current Government has since introduced the Brumby Bill to Hertiage protect the brumbies, however, Labor has committted to overturning this should they win the next election and commence the mass slaughter of these horses and leave them to rot on the ground that have roamed for almost 200 years.
