Dear all,
As I'm sure everyone knows with mounting anticipation, in 2017 the BBC is marking fifty years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.
7 Wonder's Joe Ingham has asked if we can - particularly - turn out our camera and smartphone video clips of the last night of the Black Cap, 12th April 2015, before Faucet Inn closed it the following day.
To jog your memories, I believe it was Aurora Galore performing that night.
The last night is obviously important to the BBC, because they've nagged me three times about this. However, they are reporting that they have had some brilliant Black Cap stories that have come in, and I know for a fact they want to tell a story about a meeting that led to a marriage.
So ransack your computers, rediscover your 2015-era smartphones, search through your old SD cards, and let's see what you can send Joe. He's asked can we send everything we have to Joe at history@7wonder.co.uk
With many thanks
