The interior walls of Los Alamos High School's Duane Smith Auditorium are covered with the signatures of past students and those who have performed on stage. These walls are unable to be seen from the audience and do not effect performances held in the establishment. There are plans to cover these walls this summer. We want to show our school board that people want to preserve these walls that hold so much history, that we cherish this tradition. 

Every year seniors gather to make their mark, and this last year was more emotional than most. This is because we face the prospect of our names being lost for the sake of aesthetic appearance. Tears were shed for the years that will be wiped away. Do not let our tradition end and forsake the past, allowing it to be forgotten.
