This  beach  is a regular  hatching  site  for many species of sea turtles.  Every year dozens  of turtles  come ashore at this  site  to  lay their  eggs  and  many  turtlings can  be seen crawling their  way  back to the  water.  Sand  Mining  in this area will haveserious consequenses to this  natural phenomena .  The soil  eroson along  this  beach area is  also  very regular.  Sand mining in this are  will also accelerate the erosion.
