Bring The International DOTA 2 Championship to the Philippines – Host It at the Philippine Arena!

To: Valve Corporation and The International DOTA 2 Organizing Committee

We, the passionate DOTA 2 community of the Philippines and Southeast Asia, respectfully urge you to consider hosting The International DOTA 2 Championship at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, Philippines.

Why the Philippines?

The Philippines is home to one of the most passionate and dedicated DOTA 2 fanbases in the world. Filipino gamers have consistently shown their love for the game through high engagement, grassroots tournaments, and enthusiastic support for both local and international teams. Our country has produced notable pro players and teams, and DOTA 2 is a cultural phenomenon here—followed by millions across all regions and backgrounds.

Why the Philippine Arena?

The Philippine Arena is the largest indoor arena in the world, with a seating capacity of 55,000—a perfect venue for the grandeur of The International. Its modern facilities, high accessibility, and world-class infrastructure make it ideal for hosting global esports events. This arena can match or even surpass the energy and scale of past venues such as KeyArena in Seattle or Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.

What This Means for Esports:

Bringing The International to the Philippines will not only recognize the massive support and enthusiasm of the SEA DOTA 2 community but also boost the country’s esports industry, tourism, and global recognition. It will be a historic moment—not just for Filipino fans but for the global esports scene.

Let the world see the energy, the heart, and the unmatched hype that Filipino fans bring.

We call on Valve and the organizers of The International to bring TI to the Philippines. Let the Philippine Arena roar for DOTA 2!
