First of all I would like to thank everyone who signed and shared the petition, every signature and share is extremely valuable! Please do continue to share it.
That said, these are some things you can do which would definitely have an important impact on whether the IBO will change their mind. The most useful if I may. They were suggested by another student who was supposed to retake the IB exams in May, just like us all.
Here's what they wrote:
" As you may have heard, the IBO is forcing us to defer or withdraw from the registration. We definitely need collaborative effort in getting our grades. We need to make our situation public, so that IB cannot simply ignore us. Here's what you can do.
1. Talk to your school IB coordinator and ask them to appeal to IBO
2. Submit complaints to complaints@ibo.org
3. Also please email to the Director General/Vice Director of the IB
- Director General (Dr. Kumari): siva.kumari@ibo.org
- Vice Director General (Dr. Holloway): sally.holloway@ibo.org
Tell them that Retake Students can be graded just like other students (we have IA grades, our former teachers can predict us and we even have external exam results if necessary). Also highlight the difficulties we face if we do not get the grades (cannot go to university, studied for nothing etc). Please ask your friends to help if they are on the same boat as well. Now IB is being ridiculous. They do not even tell us why we shouldn't be awarded grade. They just tell us to withdraw or wait. We need a collaborative effort to stop this. Thanks in advance for your help."

In addition to this, I would suggest one more thing. In case you were not planning to submit IAs, please be willing to do so by the deadline and express this intention in your email. IAs are one of the main ways through which the IB can assess students this year.
As meggirl123 said, and I cannot stress this enough, showing widespread concern and disapproval will most likely be the most effective approach, so please, if you can, write these emails.
Let's work together to achieve our goal!
