The Human Imprint - Demand on Human Sovereignty, Agency & Global Robot Tax

The Issue

Humanity did not vote to be replaced.

A few years ago, in a moment of reflection, I realized that no one would champion this cause for us; people need to come together to address the growing influence of Big Tech. We are not just bystanders in this new era where technology is redesigning human existence without a democratic mandate. We are at a turning point in history, one where we must choose whether humanity will dictate the use of technology or become subjected to it.

The Challenge
The rise of automation and AI, spearheaded by corporations without a public mandate, has led to unparalleled advancements. However, these innovations threaten our societal structures, our labor, and our sovereignty. When algorithms begin to dictate the terms of our lives, we lose the very thing that makes us human: Agency.

Our Demands
We insist that the European Union and global leaders take immediate action to ensure technology serves humanity. We demand a legislative framework for:

1. Human Democratic Sovereignty: No technology corporation should have the power to alter human society without oversight. Technology must answer to the people.

2. Human Agency: We refuse to be reduced to data points. Every decision that affects a human fate must be made by a human heart.

3. A Global Robot Tax: As automation replaces millions of jobs, the wealth generated must be redistributed to fund social welfare and retrain displaced workers.

Why Now?
Research from the World Economic Forum suggests that while technology creates new roles, the transition will not be seamless. We need proactive policies like the Global Robot Tax—already being explored in countries like South Korea—to ensure a fair distribution of wealth.

By signing this petition, you are joining a collective voice pushing for a future where technology is a tool for enhancement, not a replacement for human presence. We will present these demands to the European Commission to urge immediate legislative action.

As long as there is a pulse, there is human agency.

Sign today. Show heart, be the pulse, make your mark for human sovereignty.
