Musical Study benefits the brain

Neurologist have long researched and published articles on how studying music benefits the growing brain and mind. Developing the capacity to read and interpret notation, to manipulate an instrument with fine motor skills, to produce sound requires several regions of the brain. with 3 or more regions of the brain cooperating, synapsis connecting the regions are formed and strengthened through practice. Such brain/mind strength has been demonstrated to have direct links to higher outcomes in other subjects particularly in English literacy, numeracy, and other languages. Including a rich Music Education in all Australian schools is really a 'no-brainer'.
