Challis PS received an instrument donation from a 19060/70s Aussie Rock Star - Nick Melidonis, member of Gemini. The band had a No. 1 record back in 1969 : "Sunshine River'. He donated his history-laden Epiphone Acoustic guitar to Challis PS. Now it's going to a lucky young musician with the Challis School Music program. Thanks Nick!

Community Radio will carry an interview on their Music Matters show at 6.25pm on Monday November 19th, with Aife from the Salvation Army. We may even hear from Dr. Anita Collins. This national program is live to air on 94.1fm in Melbourne and then rebroadcasts on numerous stations via CRN the following week around Australia, as well as 4 times per week on Funky Kids Radio.
