I guess I was wrong about Muppet-Vision 3D. It actually will close and shutdown in 2025. Neither Jim Henson or Walt Disney would like what’s happening to the Disney Company and The Muppets. Sadly, Jim’s influence is lost 😞. Since there’s only about 2 left performing for the Muppets that worked with Jim Henson, but it’s obvious that there’s not much involvement going on right now. Also Disney doesn’t want Kevin Clash, Steve Whitmire or Frank Oz. And I guess people are still criticizing Matt Vogel as his Kermit performance. And I feel like that Disney forced the Henson’s to lie about Steve Whitmire, since Steve seems to say that the allegations what the Henson’s have said are false, and the Kermit firing thing is not fair to neither Steve Whitmire or Matt Vogel. Also Charles Schulz was an admirer of Walt Disney, but didn’t enter negotiations with Disney for the Peanuts characters such as Snoopy and Charlie Brown, which frankly was a smart decision. If I was Jim Henson, I wouldn’t want to enter negotiations with Disney, and be protecting of the characters. And I don’t understand why Jim would want to give Kermit away to Disney, because he didn’t want to give Kermit away to Sesame Workshop. And it does seem that Disney negotiations were overwhelming and frustrating besides a blessing. Especially what got sticky that it seemed that Disney would want to acquire the Sesame Street characters when negotiations were announced in late 1989. I think Jim would regret for entering negotiations with Disney and rolling in his grave, as the Muppets aren’t what he envisioned and the theme park attraction. An idea honestly is to contact Brian and Lisa Henson, plus the Disney Corporation about the Muppets and their theme park attraction. I feel Jim would want Disney to sell the Muppets back to the Hensons, even though Steve Whitmire thinks the Muppets don’t belong with neither Henson or Disney.
