Because of a dumb decision where some German media company acquired the Jim Henson Company back in 2000, making the Hensons lose the rights to the Sesame Street characters and sold them to Sesame Workshop in 2001. I would love for The Muppets, Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock characters to comeback together to do more movie and television crossovers.
