Today is Dave Goelz's 75th Birthday. Is he ever going to retire from The Muppets? Because Disney's Muppets aren't what Jim Henson, Jerry Juhl and Frank Oz had described them. There's only a few performers within Disney's Muppets that have known Jim Henson for years. It's not only Dave Goelz, but people like David Rudman, Karen Prell, Mike Quinn, Noel MacNeal. Since nobody else at Disney's Muppets had worked with Henson. Plus people like Eric Jacobson, haven't learned Frank Oz's influence and personalities underneath the Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy and Animal characters that Frank Oz played, because Eric Jacobson wasn't in the room next to Frank Oz as he was playing those characters. Or Matt Vogel who now plays Kermit for Muppets and Sesame Street, probably hasn't learned anything about Jim Henson. Since Matt Vogel performed with The Muppets and Sesame Street, couple years after Jim Henson passed away. The reason Sesame Street will be successful is because they know everything about Jim Henson, Kermit and his collaborators since 1969, they've known everything about teaching children, learning about disabilities, death, birth and marriage. But Disney hasn't really worked with Jim Henson and his collaborators very much. Anyway, I hope I could get comments if Dave Goelz plans to retire from Disney's Muppets. Since I believe that Disney's Muppets sucks, and they aren't doing projects. Because if Jim was still here, he would always be making projects, making movies, making television shows that are for adults, besides children. Since he hated stereotypes about Puppets as children's entertainment.
