Living in uncertain times... doesn't mean we should abandon plans for the future.

What better time, as we eventually and hopefully claw our nation back from COVID19, to look for stimulus options that benefit communities battered by multiple crises and long term neglect. A rebuilt high school in Bomaderry would be a good start.

We are calling on the NSW Minister for Education, Sarah Mitchell and the NSW Department of Education to undertake a full rebuild of Bomaderry High School in light of the recent and repeated water damage (shutting down 30% of the classrooms), continued neglect of the infrastructure, inadequate conditions for 21st century learning and ongoing accessibility issues at the school.

There's a fair bit going on in the NSW Government and Department of Education at the moment, we understand that. So, while they are working on plenty of new stuff during this most recent crisis, we may as well busy ourselves and double our petition signatures. That way, when they are back to focussing on the more day to day issues, we, and 10,000 of our closest friends will also have said "enough is enough, it's time to #rebuildBomo".
