Half a year ago (on 24th July), 98-year-old Myrtle Cothill applied for a visa extension but has still not had a response from the Home Office.
A swift decision is very important because Myrtle and Mary are facing destitution following the sad death of Mary's husband Dave who died during the pandemic. Dave had been working as a frontline worker in a supermarket despite suffering from Parkinson's. His death has left a huge emotional and financial void for Mary and Myrtle who are unable to make ends meet without help.
Can you help Myrtle by writing to your MP and asking him/her to write to the Home Secretary urging her to take a positive decision on Myrtle's visa application and her change of conditions application without any further delay?
You can find your MP's contact details here:

You could also send a letter to the Home Office at public.enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk and can blind-copy us into any correspondence at jd@jandoerfel.com.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP!
