UGA reported nearly 150 positive Covid cases as of the weekend according to recent AJC and CNN reports--- and the institution isn't even 'open for fall'. Yet, we know many employees, especially those in the most marginalized populations, have been reporting to work long before now, and their lives, those of their community members, and those of their families are at risk. This situation will only compound with the irresponsible 'plans for re-opening' set forth across by institutions the USG.
