As a resident of the area for most of my life this intersection has always been dangerous and I have personal experience with assisting first responders in clearing dozens of accidents and after 8/28/23 I have a very personal experience with death at this intersection. I am personally aware of 11 people who lost their lives in this area. The first one was when I was a teenager and less than 25 years later I was in a collision that took another life. Please pay attention when you’re driving because you never know when something could happen to change your life and the lives of people you’ve never met and you become a part of their tragedy as well!
