Hold people accountable for blatantly disobeying a judges order! I am asking for the maintenance law to be changed! 

I have taken my ex-husband back to court for contempt this month will be the sixth time! It has been scheduled twice to be scheduled again and again! Every time I have to go, I have to pay my lawyer, take paid time off and go through the emotionally stress it causes on my life and my daughter's life. We want to move on as well.

When you file for contempt, because you have no other choice.  We were facing losing our home, vehicles, and lively hood! It's hard to make a decision that hurts the people you love the most. So you believe what is being promised. I kept giving him the chance to do the right thing because his life had fallen apart as well as leaving ours in the worst possible situation. This needs to be like any other court case. 

He is happily married now, and has a new grand baby! While being a new Grandpa and stepdad, he once again is having no contact with his own daughter. It's hard to understand as an adult. Try to imagine how it feels for your beautiful daughter to have an amazing, and involved dad, to a dad choosing someone else's family over her. She was looking forward to starting her beautiful life, going to university she had dreamed of since middle school! She did in fact get in! Her and one class mate got an early acceptance the second month of her senior year! Due to our new finically challenges she had to drop out. 

This has been ordered for 16 months, with only a couple payments since June of 2025. Please sign our petition and help us and other women pick up the pieces of their life! Let's make the difference! Thank you.
