The story regarding Bill Shortens mother, published in News Corp publications today, clearly demonstrates that the media today is not an observer and reporter but a participant. This is no longer acceptable.

Countries like Canada have passed truth in media laws. Media ethics are in the gutter in Australia and this needs to change NOW!
