As we're teetering on the cusp of 600 signatures I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has signed so far on behalf of the Friends of Faversham Skatepark and everyone that will benefit from the future Faversham Rec Skatepark.
I know it's been quiet with this being our first update but we have been busy setting up a CIC, designing and handing out flyers across town, getting potential park designs drawn up and speaking to residents and businesses who are all behind us with this project. Everyone wants this to happen!
We just got back from really positive meeting with Swale Borough Council and Faversham town councillors and were really excited about how things are progressing. Everyone has been really supportive and helpful in helping us to progress the potential of delivering a really good skatepark for Faversham.
We'll keep you posted with further developments as and when they occur, but things are looking really good!
