Dear friends of the Shrine - We are writing to tell you, as we have been in our ongoing messages to text subscribers, that all is well with the Shrine. We have been blessed with a great deal of important coverage recently, and we encourage you to visit our website in order to see it all, as well as the beautiful video produced by Navis Pictures. Mostly importantly, we are asking you to donate if you can to our efforts. We have spent the past several weeks printing postcards, copying flyers, and producing other media, including the video, and we are close to the end of our resources. Some have already given, and we are very grateful to those who have. We literally could not have gotten this far without you. We believe we are very close to a positive resolution of this effort, but we need to maintain our presence in the media and among supporters and prospective supporters. Your donations will help us do just that. Our most effective tool currently is promotion of the video on Facebook, which has earned us 60,000 views in the last week. We want to continue to promote the video, but to do so costs money. Those 60,000 views cost $1,000. To get the same attention for another week, a week we think is crucial for the struggle, will cost another $1,000. If you are able, please visit our GoFundMe at https://www.gofundme.com/savetheshrine and donate whatever you can. Every dime that goes into the fund in turn goes directly into material costs for the Save the Shrine Coalition. There are no administrative costs or other expenses that come from the dollars donated by you. If you have been wondering when the best time to give is, now is the time. As always, thanks for all you have done, every one of you. Whether it's signing the petition or talking to friends about the Shrine, or your prayers, it has all been essential, and it is all moving us towards a positive end. Sincerely yours, The Coalition to Save the Shrine
