Gov. Pritzker to Ramp-Up COVID Restrictions for Christmas Holidays

Today, Gov. Pritzker's public health director, Dr. Ngozi Ezike scolded Illinois residents: Don't go to Grandma's house for Christmas. She said do not visit your family. Forget Christmas. Don't go to church. 

Gov. Pritzker is ramping up his unlawful COVID-19 restrictions for Christmas but his guidelines make pot businesses and liquor stores "essential businesses." This week, restaurants in Chicago pleaded with Governor Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot to allow 20% indoor dining capacity - otherwise, thousands of restaurants will be forced to close. Thousands of restaurants across Illinois have ALREADY been forced to close for good. 

But Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot are IGNORING every single business owner, threatening them with fines or prison, destroying the lives of high school students and student-athletes and children across Illinois. And they DON'T CARE if they destroy our lives, our kids, our businesses, or our state. 

We need to fight back. If we don't, they will take what we have left.
