Stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China

Stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China
The Issue
Every year, the Yulin Dog meat festival takes place with zero concern for the health risks it poses, as well as the inhumane conditions the dogs that are slaughtered are subjected to. While many may defend the festival and say that the dogs that are used are put down in a humane way, multiple videos have shown that they are actually skinned and boiled alive, and some even crushed with hammers, all because of the false belief that the more the animal suffers, the tastier meat it will produce.
We appeal to the Chinese government to change the execution of this festival to suit the modernized standards of what is justifiable and what is not within the context of animal rights.
