NHS DEBATE SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT WED 28 SEPT 2016

Apologies for late notification. Anas Sarwar MSP motion - S5M-01677 Protect Local NHS Services will be debated in parliament tomorrow. Anas is calling on all parties to unite and ask the government to rule that all proposals currently under consideration by the NHS be deemed Major Changes. I have made him aware that although the Cleft proposal has not been treated officially as a major change Shona Robison has confirmed that it will not be approved without her (ministerial) decision. MSP's from all parties and campaigners from all groups currently affected by service closure proposals are being asked to attend a media photo call at 1.30pm outside parliament tomorrow. Anas's debate will follow at 2pm. This is not a "get at the SNP" but a call for the government to ensure that the NHS major changes procedures are being correctly operated. If you can attend the media photo call please try and be there by 1.15pm. If you are only attending the debate please remember to leave sufficient time to get through the airport type security and to collect a debate chamber ticket, if possible you should try and book your ticket prior to attending tomorrow.
