It has been brought to my attention that asking for help for carers will not gain much support. Maybe I worded the petition wrong but we are not asking for help for ourselves alone, we will wear what ever life throws at us as this is the way our generation was taught. We are asking for help for our precious little ones in our care. They should not have to miss out because of the bad choices of their parents. Medical necessities (not needs but necessities to help heal their fractured minds), sporting activities for a sense of self worth and inclusion, school needs such as laptops, uniforms, and books all cost money and on a pension, income support payment, or even single income we struggle to meet their needs often choosing to go without our own medical needs (most of us are aging) to ensure we do provide the best possible outcome for these little treasures. Now multiply all those costs by 3, 4 or more (that is for each child in our care) and I'm sure you understand why we must push for help NOW! Alright, lets not talk about money, lets talk about free (really free) education, medical and reduced fee registration for sporting, vehicle and animals. That alone would take the pressure off. I have heard these kids labelled as the 'welfare kids' of this day and age! They are not. They will contribute significantly to society but if they don't get the help now, their contribution will be less. They are 'your' future, your support will make a difference & give these children a start in life and a dream to chase. PLEASE SIGN AND CONTINUE TO SHARE, THEY NEED YOUR HELP
