Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Grandparent carers who tragically lost their 5 year old grandson & nearly their 9 year old grandson in totally preventable circumstances. These Grandparent carers are exactly why this petition was started. We get no support and are frequently put in this situation by authority. I have attached a letter sent to the Grandparents lawyer which was published in the Riverine Herald http://www.riverineherald.com.au/2017/03/03/6324/devastated-rescuers-struggle-as-drowned-child-is-found This should NEVER have got to this, why are we being dismissed by every political party? Evil reigns when good people do nothing! Please do something, sign our petition, help us to be heard. As I sit and write this, there is a child of similar age that a service has forced re unification with his biological mother who has committed more crimes whilst having him in her care. The grandmother can do nothing, she may even be charged for trying to protect him in the first place. Wake up Australia, this is happening in OUR COUNTRY, help us protect the children.
