Many thanks to all those who have signed the petition. We have reached another milestone, 840 supporters. We have achieved the 500 signatures that merits that this petition be heard in Parliament but we still have a long way to go to take this movement across the island. In 1973 Bob Marley recorded a song which was entitled "Get up stand up, stand up for your rights. Part of the legacy that he bequeathed to us was to challenge us to do something to change any situation that negatively affects us. No state should oppress its people. For 9 years this is what the present Administration in Barbados has been doing. The question that must be asked is, "how can we expect change when we do not take action?" The answer is that it is impossible for change to occur on its own except for divine intervention. That being said I want to urge you, fellow Barbadians to sign this petition which challenges you to initiate change in the way our country is governed. All we have to do is take action as little as signing this petition, sharing it on social media, print out and give to your neighbors, tell your friends and share information about it on the call in programs. There are over 270,000 of us and less than 40 of them. Stand up for our right and demand accountability and their game with our future is over.
