Allegan County Fair Intends to Work With Us on Banning the Sale of Racist Paraphernalia

The Executive Director of the Allegan County Fair contacted Allegan Speak Up on Monday, June 8 with intentions to work with us on banning the sale of racist paraphernalia.

As we draft a letter detailing the recommendations we would like to see put in place by the Allegan County Fair board regarding the sale and display of racist symbolism, we will keep our 1,900+ signatories up to date on the progress.

We are glad that The Allegan County Fair is willing to work toward and  cultivate a more inclusive environment for the Allegan community.
