I greatly appreciated Mbeki's remarks regarding the importance of statues and symbols, as well as his great respect for Ethiopia's contributions to Pan-Africanism. I also found his statement regarding the important role the Imperial Family plays in maintaining the unity of our people to be right on the mark as well.
