"THE ACOLYTE" NEEDS SEASON 2

I think that in general a TV series needs at least a second season to be truly judged.
Sure, this one has its flaws, but is there a series that has none?
This story needs a sequel and having it die like this wouldn't solve anything. 
True, the pace of the story compared to other Star Wars series/movies is different, but that also makes it more original and daring, which is why it should be more appreciated objectively.
Moreover, being canonical, it would leave a real plot hole within the entire timeline: do you really want that?
Throughout the various episodes we have seen unique settings, spectacular duels, and met wonderful and original characters worthy of their own story, and others (like Darth Plagueis) who need one in live action.
The High Republic is a very fascinating period, but not very well explored/known unfortunately, and to have it die (in live action) right away would be really unfair, as well as unwise (seriously, you just want to read the books and comics?).
Do you remember the prequel trilogy? It was flooded with criticism at the beginning, while now it is much loved: don't make the same mistake of judging right away, be patient.
So please sign this petition and allow this series to have a second chance, allow it to give us what we have always wanted and are still waiting for: give it time and we will not regret it.
