In 2018 - 100 years on from the Representation of the People Act, and 90 years since the 1928 Equal Franchise Act - it is an absolute travesty of democracy that in the 2017 General Election 68.4% of votes made no difference whatsoever to the outcome.
Millions are still misrepresented, millions of votes are wasted, and millions of us have to vote tactically.
The distinct lack of democratic progress since the early 1900s is nothing short of failure.
In fact, the UK is one of only a handful of developed democracies that still uses First Past The Post.
