It's not often you hear democracy and House of Lords in the same sentence. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the House of Lords on 4th December to speak about diversity and represent the British Humanist Association. A number of organisations were there in support, including 50:50 parliament who campaign for gender representation in the House of Commons.
