You may have seen the news that water voles are now being re-introduced to the Hogsmill. It's a fantastic project that has been many years in the making.

You can support or volunteer here:

This makes it even more important for us to win the battle to stop Thames Water overflowing the thousands of tonnes of sewage a year into the stream.

It seems to us that that a large part of the problem particularly upstream in Epsom & Ewell from the information we have been given so far by Thames Water is the fact that the sewage tanks in Epsom and Ewell by the streams are old (60 years old) and too small. They have not been upgraded or upsized since the mid 60s! Put simply, we need some additional tanks as their capacity is insufficient.

There are also issues at the water treatment works in Kingston which we are not at the bottom of yet.

We are now on 2,197 supporters as I write this message. Thank you for your amazing support and please keep telling your friends about the campaign and sharing.

Together, we will win this!

Very best wishes for a lovely day and a lovely weekend.

Mark Todd
