there are many trans people, many of which are kids. saying they are being abused and taking them out of their homes for being themselves solves nothing. forcing adolescents to hide who they are will only cause negative, detrimental effects to their mental and physical health. whether a child transitions or not should be up to the parent, not the government. it is disgusting and cruel that texas is forcing people to out their children for being different.

people need to be heard. these people are only CHILDREN. at a young age, this will only cause trauma that will worsen with age. these kids need to learn that being trans is okay, and not that being trans means fearing for your life. they should be able to grow up being accepted and happy with who they are, not pushed away. we are all human. a different gender identity that strays from the one we are assigned at birth does not make us an alien. i am asking this as one human, to another. please give people their rights back. they are just children. please.
