I would like to encourage you to attend the hearing if you can to show support. You will hear the Texas lottery operator, GTECH, argue to the court that G-Tech is "immune from suit" and they will ask the court to dismiss our mass action case. Our case, which consists of over 1,000 plaintiffs and intervenors, allege that GTECH committed fraud when they selected the wording for the Fun 5’s scratch ticket. The language used misled players. We believed we would win a prize if we revealed a Money Bag symbol on our scratch tickets. FYI - GTECH continued to deliver tickets to retailers to sale to players for almost two months even after they became aware that players were being misled. The Texas Lottery did not shut down the sale of the Fun 5 tickets until political pressure from the Texas legislature was put on the Texas Lottery Commission.
