Texas NEEDS better laws, changes in Laws to protect the innocent animals that are being Abused & Neglected. 

*1) proper housing (shelter, food, water).              
            a) fine owners/or jail time for owners that leave their animal (s) out in horrible conditions, no food, water, the elements with no shelter.

*2) proper medical care:                                            
          a) Up To Date on Vaccinations.                
          b) seek medical help when your animal (s)
               are sick or hurt.                                              
          c) if your animal (s) are skinny, showing         
               their bones, you MUST seek medical      
               attention right away. If animal has an      
               underlying condition, you must show      
                proper medical records.

*3) Bait animal (s) go straight to jail!    

*4) No to DOG FIGHTING ….Go straight to jail.    

*5) No animal should be left in a kennel all day    
       All animal (s) shouldn’t be left tied up & they          don’t have proper restraints.

*6) Any other Abuse or Neglected (use common      
       sense for the ACO, or other officials …      
       that could look at it, and remove the animals

  *** You wouldn’t treat a child like this I hope.        
          Animals are like your child. Take responsibility!
