During this time of crisis, people are necessities. The elderly and vulnerable need food, toilet roll, and a safe clean environment to be able to get those items. Normally, shopping plays a big part of life - it gives an opportunity to get out and get exercise. But right now, the supermarkets are more chaotic and make it difficult.  Please sign my petition for supermarkets to have special opening hours.

Iceland have started to roll this out - it’s time Tesco, ASDA, Lidl, Aldi, Waitrose, Sainsbury's and others do this too. We need compassion and kindness. It is important to have this as some do not understand how to do online shopping or do not have the resources to do so, and/or have no one to help them. 

Most of you, like myself, have an elderly and/or disabled relative. I can only imagine how difficult this situation must be for them. People like my mum who is immunocompromised are struggling to shop. She loves the ability to leave her home and shop for what she needs. If this was an option available to her, it would mean the world. Let's make it possible for her, and many like her, to have that small freedom.

Let us all ask these shops to provide this service. To ensure their shops are well stocked and cleaned thoroughly so that the disadvantaged can have the peace of mind to get what they need safely.
