Well the General Election has been called - you are most likely going to get someone come to see you to ask for your vote.  If they do, can you please ask them whether they support the Stop Replacing People by Machines Petition and Campaign through Change.org?

Virtually the whole of the retail sector has gone over to Self-Service-Card-Only-Tills and shop assistants who used to work on the tills are being replaced by self-service, mainly cashless check-outs.

Will the candidate coming to speak to you about securing your vote  promote our Petition and Campaign? Feed back to me if you would please. Let me know their name, the Party they represent and ask them for their email address.  My email address is pmccarthy940@gmail.com - you never know - they may even get elected and if they are - we'll get in touch with them to get them to help us win!

For many people, especially those who are isolated or have certain disabilities the new cashless card only tills mean social exclusion.  Millions of people across the UK still use cash as their only means of payment when they go to a supermarket - it could of course be you!

I know there are many important issues that politicians are asked about - but here's your chance to pin the candidate down and widen our Stop Replacing People by Machines Petition and Campaign.
