Thank you for signing the petition and wanting to get involved in the Campaign.

A positive - Tesco's Osterley have gone back to 9-customer serviced tills and have reduced the numbers of self-service-card-only-tills.  Mark Conroy, the new Tesco's Store Manager has implemented the change, which is already making a difference to peoples shopping experience.

What about your local Tesco store? Have you found out the name of your local store manager and would you like a 'model' letter to send to them about the self-service-card-only-tills that discriminate against a number of customers?  Happy to provide one.  I will write up a 'model' letter for you to send into your local store manager in my next update.

Almost l73,000 of you have signed the petition and three-quarters-of-a-million people have viewed the petition - that's amazing and once again thank you.  I am grateful to Change.org for enabling this petition to enable people to evidence their disquiet over the installation of self-service-card-only-tills. As we move more to a 'cashless' society, those of us who still pay in cash are finding it increasingly more difficult to shop. Carers who shop for clients in cash and many workers who work in small businesses who are paid in cash are finding it difficult.  That has to change.
