The last few days have been very busy with the campaign. After Tesco’s announcements, I've been on Radio 4 and radio Sheffield, as well as the petition being featured in countless newspapers and online blogs! As I said on my last update, I now plan to target other supermarkets who sell eggs from caged hens, so earlier today I launched my new petition to Asda and Morrisons. Which I will follow through to assure that the change happens as soon as possible and as effectively as possible. Now is the time to apply the pressure to the other supermarkets. Tesco, the market leader, has proved that free range Is the way forward. So now, all we have to do is encourage the rest of the retailers to follow suit and join their competitors in a new era of food production. As well as coverage on the radio and in newspapers, tomorrow I will be going on BBC breakfast at some point after 7am to talk about the Tesco petition and hopefully the new petition as well.
